Katniss Against Other Districts

  In the book the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins the main character (the protagonist) Katniss faces many difficult and powerful courses throughout her life. Katniss lives in a area known as District 12. District 12 is sort of like New York in the future from now. People have to hunt for their own food be aware of their surrondings and make sure that they do not get eaten by other animals in the wild.  Katniss is in the arena in the capitol. the arena is a place where people fight against each other to see who will be the last person standing which will be declared the winner of the Hunger Games.

   In the arena their are many diffrent climate changes or different weathers. the different types of climates arev such as a desert a avalanche and a forest their are also many other types. Katniss mentions that she wants the forest climate so that she can create bow and arrows and hamocks and sleep in the trees and under the shade. Katniss recieves a forest climate but she is desprate for water. Katniss goes crazy searching and walking mile by mile looking for water. Katniss then discovers water from a pond and she drinks so  much water that she almost literly drowns herself throughout this process. when Katniss is drinking water there at the pond she sees Peta there.

   Peta is a boy that is also from District 12. Peta says that  he likes Katniss but then he admits that this is a lie but at the same tieme Peta is sort of falling for Katniss. Peta asks if he could be trained for the Hunger Games sepreatly and not together with Katniss. I believe that one of the reasons that this was being implied towards Peta is probably and most likely because he thinks that Katniss may distract him and make the two of them fall in love for each other because of this. I believe that this book is very interesting and exciting and i enjoy it very mich.

Katniss and the Hunger Games

   I have just started the Hunger Games book by Suzanne Collins so far this story is very interesting and good to read. This book is about a 16 year old Katniss who hunts for food and ways to survive life in District 12 and in the Capitol. Katniss trys to make her family also survive by hunting for food and ways to live for her mother and sister whos name is prim. Katniss's dad died in a mine explosion years before. Katniss hunts for food all alone in the woods with her hunting partner Gale they both help each other to hunt and they both also make certain trades to certain types of food to maintain their families.

   In this book there is a holiday known as the Hunger Games or the reaping where  everyone in district 12 meets and 2 children shall be selected one male and one female betweeen the ages 12 through 13. if you are selected you must participate in the annual Hunger Games to fight to the dead live on T.V. my  inference about this book is that Prim (Katniss's younger sister) is going to be selected for the hunger games and then prim might not be able to make it through.

   I also belive that Katniss will try to help Prim win the hunger games and now they both might not make it  through the hunger games. Katniss might also get into deep trouble because she migh try to save Prim. Another inference that I have or wonder is who will Prim battle or what obstacle will she have to go through or fight in order to achieve the Hunger Games.

Jonas recieving "the talk"

   The giver by Lois Lowery so far is very interesting and it makes you (the reader) want to think more and more about the story and what is going on through out it and what you want to know about it. jonas the main character is a very normal boy and everything is going fine for him until he recieves "the talk" from his father speaking about everything his father did and acomplished as a kid and also what Jonas will soon have to deal with in his life as a 12 year old boy and what his life will soon await.

    Jonas will soon turn 12 when a boy or a girl turns 12 in their community a big ceromony awaits which is including an adventure in which they will have to acomplish. Jonas dad explains to Jonas what the ceromony is all about because he is almost turning 12 years old. Jonas soon will turn 12 and the ceromny will soon come. the ceromony is 2 days long and Jonas will have to complete an assignment.

    I can see why the ceromony is a major part in Jonas and everyone else who is turning 12. my opinion of it being important is because of it may be before jonas becomes a teen. This story is interesting and is very good.

The giver by lois lowry #1

In the book the giver by lois lowry the main character jonas is a very calm and peaceful person until he spots aircraft flying over his community. he starts to think and starts to wonder what is going to happen next so far. I think that this story is very intersting and curiuos so far because I basicly dont know what will happen next. which is why it is interesting.

I infer that jonas life will get more difficult one way or another I infer that a war will begin to happen because he spoted aircraft over him or his life will get difficult with a certain type of conflict. jonas also has a sister named lily maybe something will happen to her and jonas will have to try to be a super hero.

I belive that this book will turn out good because so far I think that it is interesting and mysterious because the story leaves me wondering also it will be good because it has the noble award which means that the story is interesting.

its kind of a funny story by ned vizzini #3

   In the book its kind of a funny story by ned vizzini the main character craig is still trying to succeed in life but so far throughout the story it seems as if the more he is trying the more he is getting  further and further apart from succeeding.
  
   Craig seems as if he is getting further and further apart from succeeding because he start to smoke pot and hangout after school instead of doing his homework.craig is also not getting good grades in any of his classes or test scores. Another way that he is not succeeding in life is by craig hangingout with the wrong people which is a kid that smokes pot and a kid that never studys and a kid that curses alot and cuts class. This is why craig is not succeed the way that craig should be succeding in.

   my inference is coming true so far because craig is  not doing so well with his academic carrer and with his personal life also craig is not acheiving what he wants to and he is getting further away from what he wants to get to.

its kind of a funny story by ned vizzini # 2

  In the book its kind of a funny story the main character craig is once again and is still trying to succeed in life. craig is also still trying to improve and achieve his life in every possible way that he can even think of.craig is also saying everything about his life before his life became into a streesful life.craig also says how he got into one of the best high schools of the new york state.
  
   I  think that the theme of the story is how and why people should never give up. I belive that the main focus and the theme of the story is dont give up on life and dont give up on your self when life becomes a challenge.I belive that ned vizzini is trying to show and prove this is because craig feels like he should give up on himself because he almost does throughout the story.

  so far what I  infered so far about the story is coming true so far.craig is getting overloaded about stress and is also relizing that the school he is in is way to difficult  than what he thought he got himself into.craig also is relizing that he has to worry about school less and relax more but what he is not relizing is that he will not get very far by doing this.

Its kind of a funny story by ned vizzini #1

  In the book Its Kind of a Funny Story by ned vizzini the main character Craig Gilner is trying to figure out what he can become throughout his life. craig is trying to see who and what he can become from his life. Craig is trying to make sure everything goes right and correct in school and in anywhere else so that it does not mess up his permenet record. Craig is trying to get into the right high school to get into the right collage to have the right job. Craig is determined to succeed in his life.


   Since I just started this book I do not know what is going to happen next. I infer that Craig will get into a good high school and the high school will be to difficult for him to handle. I also infer that he will not be able to make it through what he wanted to be a smart and good life, what Craig wanted to be his will no longer be their. I also infer that Craig will give up on what he wanted to be a good life and will live the oppisite of a good and smart life which is a bad life .I also belive that Craig will keep on trying to succeed throughout his life.
  
   What I know so far about the book is that Craig is trying very hard to not give up and keep on pushing and moving forward. Craig also said that he feels more safe in bathrooms because he can think really good in them, long and hard about his life. Craig also is not hanging out with the correct and smart people, instead Craig is hanging out with kids that do drugs and get into loads of trouble. This is how I know that he already is not doing a good job in succeeding in his life.
